children of sin part 6Seth walked into the barracks, the soldiers were already at attention. He stood and looked at them for a long time. Seth knew his men. He knew that the moment he asked for volunteers, everyone of them would step forward. The only problem he would have, would be to decided who wouldn't be entering the catacombs.
"I need eighty voleenters to enter the catacombs."
Just as he thought every single man stepped forward. Now it was time to chose the best eighty.
Somewhere else in the city Malachai led Kaylow's team to the door of the catacombs. They went far down through the wrok levels until the air started to children of sin part 6

Children of Sin part 5The door to the council chambers opened and a messenger ran in, he quickly stopped and looked at the people in the room. The messenger took a moment to catch his breath, then he spoke.
"Commander Devin is dead. He was pulled down the ventilation shaft by an unknown force, the area around the shaft has been reinforced by troops in an effort to contain it."
Seth slumped in his chair.
"Devin is dead?"
"yes sir, he was pulled into the shaft."
Halowe stood from his chair and looked toward the messenger.
"wait outside until we call for you"

Seth's personal First strike team, known mainly for there swift attack and near invincibility in battle. An order had come down through the ranks for an extremely important mission, it was an investigation mission. Five men were chosen from the first strike team to go. Folid, Moy, Zachary, Angel and there leader Devin. Devin was human and it was rare for a human to make it so far up in the military ranks, but Devin was exceptional. i dont know what im feeling lately. life sudenly stopped and i had a moment to meet myself. im afraid the experience might of drained me of something important. i dont think i like myself very much. and im tierd of people giving me advice and telling me what they would do by there standards. i have my own standards now.
